Join Jackie – The Woods(wo)man for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to carve your very own wooden loon from start to finish. Whether you turn it into a holiday ornament, keychain, or a small standalone loon, you’ll leave with a piece that’s uniquely yours—and a new appreciation for the art of woodcarving.

In this 3-hour workshop, Jackie will lead you through the process of shaping your loon and carving the small details that bring it to life. Along the way, you’ll learn safe carving techniques, tips for working with wood grain, and how tiny details can transform a simple shape into a character-filled bird.

Once your loon is carved, Adam will walk us through how to add the distinctive loon markings using dyes and paint so your bird gets that iconic look we all recognize on our lakes.
